 Throughout Scripture, we see music being used effectively and meaningfully in the personal and corporate worship of God. Several items have been added to the library which should help to give us a better understanding of this gift from the Lord and the need to apply Biblical standards to all areas of music. The Fanny Crosby Story This DVD shares the amazing biography of the girl blinded shortly after birth who grew up to be one of the most prolific hymn writers. She is credited with writing more than 10,000 hymns, all penned after the age of 40. The Battle for Christian Music In this updated book, Tim Fisher begins from a scriptural premise to show what Christian music really is and then fairly and biblically contrasts it with the contemporary Christian movement. Items already in the library which relate to the important subject of music include Harmony at Home, another book written by Tim Fisher, and The Language of Music, an excellent six-video series by Frank Garlock.
