During the summer months, take time to read a book, listen to some cassette tapes, or watch a video. The library has something for everyone in the family, whether you're interested in learning more about the Bible, developing Christlike character, exploring the past, or simply looking to "get away" for a while. Enjoy an old favorite or check out one of these new items.

The first book in the Concord Cunningham, the Scripture Sleuth Series is being added to the children's section. Each chapter is a new mystery. Instead of providing the solution at the end of the case, Concord gives a Bible verse reference which holds the final clue. One of the aims of this series is to show that God's Word is living, active, and able to help out in any situation.

Also new in the adult fiction section are several volumes of the Zion Covenant Series:

"The Vienna Prelude"

"The Prague Counterpoint"

"The Munich Signature"

This series provides a powerful, historically accurate portrayal of the post-World War II sturggles of the infant nation Israel and understanding of the Middle East. It follows The Zion Chronicles, which are also available in the library.

Other new items include:

"Mandie and the Dark Alley" (Mandie Mysteries)

"Mandie and the Tornado!" (Mandie Mysteries)

"Mandie and the Quilt" (Mandie Mysteries)

"Tree House Mystery" (Sugar Creek Gang)

"The Cemetary Vandals" (Sugar Creek Gang)

"The Battle of the Bees" (Sugar Creek Gang)

"Countermoves" (Adventures in Odyssey)

"Battle Lines" (Adventures in Odyssey)
