Our thoughts will be turning to missions at home and overseas in a special way during the weeks ahead between our upcoming Missions Conference and the trip Pastor and Mrs. Moss will be taking to the Far East. The library is adding some new books for all ages related to this subject which is so important to our Heavenly Father, Who sent His Son to the "mission field" of Earth many years ago.

Overcoming Fear

Walt Croom chronicles the journey he took as he tried to deal with many fears in his life, the peace that finally came when he sought God and His righteousness, and how the Lord led in his becoming General Director of Military Evangelism (one of the mission organizations supported by North Hills Bible Church).

Jesus is No Secret

Using Scripture, this book relates evangelism and missions to a child's life experience and teaches children to help missionaries as well as be missionaries wherever they are.

Cameron Townsend: Good News in Every Language

After sharing the gospel with the people of Guatemala, Mexico, and Peru, he started Wycliffe Bible Translators so that people all over the world might be able to have and read God's Word in their own languages.

Betty Greene: Wings to Serve

As a young World War II pilot, she dreamed of using airplanes to help spread the gospel and later helped start Mission Aviation Fellowship, whose pilots transport missionaries and their needed supplies in different parts of the world.

Also look for some additional new Be Series books, Sugar Creek Gang books, and Adventures in Odyssey cassette tapes in the days ahead.
