Glenn and Cheryl Hilt began their ministry to truckers in 1989. They worked in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; Elkton, Maryland; and then in Milldale, Connecticut. While in this ministry Glenn preached twice on Sundays, did evangelistic outreach, and counseled truck drivers. The Lord closed that door in 2002 and opened another one with EICM, a church helps ministry, where they served through the end of 2014. They continue to minister at North Hills Bible Church in their retirement from full-time missions work.
Their prayer requests are as follows.
- Trust the Lord for His direction each day of their lives and for future decisions.
- Pray for health, strength, and safety.
- Pray for God’s blessings as they minister for His glory in all areas of life.
- Pray for God to use them in winning souls, and for the growth of those given to them to disciple.
- Glenn’s preparation and preaching of the Word
- Adjustments to transitions in their ministry.
- Wisdom for decisions that need to be made concerning the church and their ministry.
- Glenn and Cheryl together doing visitation to nursing homes and hospitals.
- Glenn to have wisdom in balancing his time studying, visiting, preaching and working part-time driving a commuter bus.
- Cheryl’s ongoing health needs and nutrition with fibromyalgia.
- God’s timing in all the details of any upcoming changes.
- Insight in knowing how best to serve and minister to their present congregation.
