At North Hills Bible Church, we exclusively use the King James Version of the Bible in all our ministries. Our preaching and teaching is done only from the KJV, and we encourage our congregation to bring and use their copies in our services. Copies of the KJV are provided for visitor use in every pew as well.

Our Position

We take this position because we believe that the original texts from which the King James Version was translated were the inerrant Word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit according to 2 Timothy 3:16 and 2 Peter 1:21, and preserved by God according to Mark 13:31, Matthew 24:35, and Luke 16:17. We do not believe the King James Version itself to be inspired, nor that it contains any new or additional revelation, only that it is the best available English translation of God’s original Word.
